The MEC Denim Hangout is one of our signature community events, bringing together current students, alumni, and the wider MEC family in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It's a day to reconnect, make new friends, share experiences, and celebrate the incredible journeys of our students.
Whether you've just arrived in Ireland or have been living here for years, the Denim Hangout is an opportunity to meet people who understand your journey. Students hear firsthand stories from alumni who have successfully transitioned into employment, secured work permits, advanced their careers, started businesses, purchased homes, and built fulfilling lives in Ireland.
The event is filled with fun activities, networking opportunities, inspiring conversations, music, games, great food, and, of course, plenty of denim. More importantly, it creates a space where everyone feels welcome, valued, and connected.
